Hood River Extreme
Post Canyon/Mitchell Ridge

The Hood River Extreme Trail is formally known as the Post Canyon/Mitchell Ridge Trail. It is part of Seneca Fouts Memorial State Park and Wygant State Park. You get there by going west out of Hood River. Post Canyon Road is a gravel road and goes through the ride site. Park about a 1/2 mile into the road and start riding. It is well marked and a wonderful ride.

Various pictures from the trail

Not everything is extreme, the main trail is picturesque and easy to do.

All the pictures are of my son, Garrett.

Some parts are a little more extreme. I leave the log riding to others.

The climb to Mitchell Ridge is a great cardio workout. This is a view from the road on top of Mitchell Ridge.
